Things a Whovian should do: Never eat apples (they’re “rubbish” and keep the Doctor away)!

Soooo, about a month ago, we reached 5k followers. :D

And, for those of you who read the ramblings that happen in the tags, a giveaway has been promised to celebrate this momentous occasion!
And it’s taken some time but, finally here it is! Now, before we start on what you could win and the rules and all that boring stuff, us here at TAWSD would just like to thank you for everything! Because without all 5k+ of you guys, we admins would just be three very bored people with Photoshop twiddling our thumbs.
Anyway, without further ado, let us start this giveaway! Here’s what’s up for grabs:
- Giveaway ends on the 20th of November at 18:00 GMT exactly.
- We want to reward our followers so obviously, you must be following TAWSD, duh!
- To enter the giveaway, reblog this post ONCE. Likes will not count but if you want to like it so you can keep track of it, then go ahead!
- The winner will be chosen via randomizer and contacted on the 20th. Said winner will then have until the 24th to respond with contact details (we will ship internationally). Past that period, another winner shall be chosen.
- As for other rules, quite obviously all Tumblr rules concerning giveaways apply; most importantly that you must be 18 or older!

Hey guys, Sarah here! As you may have noticed lately, TAWSD has become rather inactive due to the fact that Brynna and I are both extremely busy. I can’t speak for Brynna but I do know that it will not calm down for me; this gap year is really hectic but also wickedly fun.
Anyway, rambling aside, we’re looking for one new admin for this lovely blog here. Requirements are:
So yeah, first 2 reqs are pretty self-explanatory. 3rd requirement is because we obviously need to know what the TAWSD is referring to in order to find the appropriate background image. And that brings me onto #4: it’s easier if you have all the episodes because you can just screencap. Image search is more time-consuming, just so you know.
What you’ll be committing to is about 3-4 submissions a week with an admin rotation; so basically every 3 weeks. Not very difficult. Again, all fanmail/submission sorting out is usually my job, so no worries about that.
If you have any questions before applying, then just shoot an ask down TAWSD.
And, if you’re raring to apply, then please send me an ask on my private account (handy-dandy link here: http://damesarahoftardis.tumblr.com/ask) with a quick blurb on how you fill all the requirements and why you want to be an admin. :D Applications will be open until October 22.
Good luck to y’all, and happy TARDIS’ing!
P.S. This is obviously not paid, just thought I’d clarify.

Things a Whovian should do: Visit Southerndown Beach.

Admin note: Southerndown Beach is a site often used for Doctor Who location shooting. It is most famous for being the backdrop of the most heartbreaking moment in TV the farewell scene between Ten and Rose but it has also been used for other scenes, most recently the engine room in ‘Dinosaurs On A Spaceship’. For more information, go here: http://www.doctorwholocations.net/locations/southerndownbeach.

Admin note: Happy series 7, everyone! I hope you all enjoyed the series premiere, I know I did! There definitely were some unexpected twists there. Speaking of those, this TAWSD submission is actually a bit of a spoiler seeing who’s featured in it so I’ve tagged it with the appropriate tags for those who haven’t seen it yet. Keep on being absolutely awesome!
